There are many things I love about Helena, the design genius behind Momiji. Hundreds & hundreds of iconic characters are all the result of her endlessly creative brain.
My list of things I love about Helena includes her passion for palačinke (pancakes), late night dancing and our in-depth chats about everything and anything. I also love that if there's an event or holiday to celebrate, Helena goes ALL OUT. Over the years I've seen her hand craft gifts, party decorations and carnival costumes that are always amazing and often made from the simplest of materials.
When we were chatting about her Easter plans for this year I asked if I could share these cute bunny headdresses that she's been making with her daughter, Amelie. Helena has put together a simple template and instructions if you'd like to have a go at crafting your own. Such a soothing weekend activity.
You will need:
- This template sheet, printed onto paper of your chosen colours.
- elastic string cord / elastic ribbon /satin ribbon
Optional: tiny pompoms
1. Print the template onto paper of your choice
2. Cut out all headband parts from the template
3. Glue together all parts
4. Attach your elastic or ribbon so that you can tie it around your head.
We'd love to see your pictures if you have a go at making these. They'd be so lovely to wear on Easter egg hunts or for family parties. Or just while you're watching TV. Celebrate everything, right?!
Have a Hoppy Weekend!
